Oh FFS!

This will be nil consolation, but I am tarred with a similar brush.... I have what I like to think of as a "reverse Midas touch": everything I touch turns to shite.....

Amongst my friends, my DiY (in)ability is legendary. I am the Reg Prescott of the North

If there is a hole to drill in the wrong place, a cable to go through, a water pipe to puncture, I'm yer man 👍🏻

Ironically, my son is a Joiner, and a bloody good one. He sure didn't inherit his ability off me. The look he gives me whenever I pick up a tool is a picture.....🙄
I'm in the same club !! 🥴😵‍💫💩

hi.
you were very lucky using an " easy out tap" as by their tapered design they will expand the case more.they are for rotational extraction.
a simple thread tap, then the bolt and washer method would have been the safer way.the same method to replace a bearing in a casing where a pulling force is needed.
but hay ho it worked.

I do get that I was lucky.

The fact that I had sawn off the head end of the case, made it that much harder.

Using lube (which I did) and the same manufacture's case holder (to die), is something that I will endeavour to do in the future.

I remember being given some advice at work.

"If you are not in the mood to do your job, do not come to work".

It was (and remains) good advice.

Seems to me, the same can be said for reloading.

Just not in the mood. Should not be allowed near anything 'pointy' (no change there then), and I definitely should not have gone down to the Cave this morning and try to knock up a dozen .243 rounds...,

I have (no doubt) made it ten times worse by trying to fix it.

It is now sitting on my study desk, mocking me. I am just estimating how far I can chuck it...

Basta*d thing.

Fcuk, fcuk, fcukity fcuk!
A bigger hammer may be required.

I asked my wife (I am not authorised to shop on Amazon) to buy me some sticky numbers. I have the brilliant idea that I am going to number the feeders. I have seven in the pen, and I think that numbering them will assist the management of them.

The Amazon envelope arrived before I set off, and Mrs.S62 threw it into the truck. At the pen, I rip it open and find..

OK.

So this is turning into a Royal Pain in the Arse.

The results of Mrs.S62 second attempt to buy the numerals (1-10) off Amazon has arrived.
Last time it was three number 2s (don't snigger at the back) that turned up.

This time...

😖

Not quite sure what is going on here.

So (again), rather than throw them in the bin.

Anyone who lives at No.4 wants some free 'bin stickers', just let me know and they are yours.

Keeping in with the theme of the thread.
Not totally inept but things conspire against me.

To such an extent that on my wedding day my best man regailed the ensemble with my, as he called it, Frank Spencer exploits in civil engineering and driving (think it was 8 accidents with 2 vehicles written off including going backwards into a loch and making the papers)

I fear my alter ego may still be shadowing me into my exploits in reloading as I to have a case stuck in a Lee decapping tool 😩

This is brilliant! We need to see the paper clipping though! 😂😂👍🏻

Surely if you get your good lady to put in an order 10 times, you will have set plus two spares?😁
