Wanted: .416 Rigby cases and bullets.

Thanks guys, just heading out but will try Steve later. Looking for any bullets at this stage Foxpro, I have a new RCBS mould which I want to crack on with soon. I already have RCBS dies, a Lee factory crimp die and their length gauge with holder so ready to go. I've got 40 or so fired cases that came with the rifle.

Ahh a Ruger RSM ๐Ÿ˜
Iโ€™ve always liked the look of those and finally handled one that is for sale at Ivythorne with Steve Beaty. Lovely rifle that I understand were made by Ruger at a loss as it was Bill Rugers passion.

Shot .416 Rigby @ Diggle, recoil handleable ........ but certainly no range work rifle.
Myself and some friends gathered at a range a while back to shoot some big bores. A Browning A bolt in 375, Winchester Model 70 in 416, a Chapuis 9.3x74r and a Ruger No1 in 416.
The Ruger No1 in 416 won the vote as the toughest rifle to shoot. The Model 70 was easy to shoot, the 9.3x74 was a pussy.

Well I was at Rigby's a couple of months ago so loaded factory cartridges are not a problem. Am currently using some old Berdan primed rounds which are still very lively in the recoil department but as noted it's manageable but deffo north of my 9.3's. 50% of these older rounds have splits in the neck after firing.

Last I heard, there were still some Barnes bullets available from Raytrade. It's worth asking them. I think I've got some Hornady solids hanging around if you just want cheap bullets to chuck down the range to keep your eye in.

Searching for the above please if anyone has anything surplus hanging about or know the whereabouts of supplies. Thanks for looking.
