Editor not working (for me anyway)

Since no one else has reported a problem and he won't tell us what he did to 'fix' it I think we'll just put it down as user error. :thumb:

I like it, really impressed by the way this site works. Thanks to all you Admin guys for your hard work. A credit to you all. :thumb:

Are you going to share? Or just leave us guessing?
Well seeing that the only advise was 'delete temporary internet files' and this little gem;

What would you expect?
BTW Not user error!

Some manners? Here's how most polite people would have responded:

"Thanks but I have tried deleting temporary internet files as suggested and it hasn't done the trick. Any other suggestions?"

At that point we could have looked into it in more detail.

Instead you go on to complain about us updating the site software before announcing that you 'fixed' it... and even went to the trouble to post again to make sure we knew it wasn't temporary internet files, but not saying what you had done.

We put in the hours to keep the site running smoothly, keeping up with software updates and security patches so you can continue to use the site, for free. Surely you can spare some good manners in return?

FWIW: I had issues with the new FCEditor when using the default Android browser on my phone. I think that this is a known issue with the editor, so I just changed to using the standard editor which works fine :thumb:

Ok thanks, that's worth knowing. This latest update also included an updated mobile style for use on phones but having briefly tested it I wasn't overly impressed and disabled it as I think it would cause more trouble than it was worth. Sadly they have yet to get it working across all phone platforms.

Alex

I posted a short reply to a thread yesterday from my i-Phone. I tried to correct my spelling mistakes and the editor showed a blank screen. After another post was made to the thread I was able to access my post and correct it. This was using Safari and the latest OS5 on my i-Phone.

Whats the matter is it beyond you to reply in a reasonable manner, to maybe input something that may be of use to others, this is not the first time I have noticed your curt attitude. I do hope you manage to conduct yourself a little better in the future.
