Sold: 7mm lead bullet heads 168gr

Hi all,

I’ve just bought myself a 7x57R from a gent on here and I’m all set to load hunting rounds but I will also be using this rifle at my local gun club (indoors). It’s a 25 meter range so we obviously have to download and use hard cast, gas checked 168gr bullet heads (no jacket).

I have placed an order for these with Shellhouse but they currently have an 8–10 week lead time but I’m itching to use my new rifle at the club so, even though it’s a real long shot, thought I’d ask on here to see if anybody had any of these bullet heads they were willing to part with?

Get in touch with shellhouse if you haven't already, I've found them helpful and usually they do seem to arrive some time before their general estimate. Some common bullets (.429" 240Gr in my case) they seem to hold some stock of going on casting/despatch dates.

I shoot the same caliber but only for deer, so can't help with indoor range work but can with lead and non-toxic out to normal distances so drop me a line if you want to chat.

I wanted some RWS KS 162 gr bullet heads but couldn’t find them anywhere so I’ve ordered Sierra Gameking 150gr - these shoot we’ll in my R8 in .308.

Shellhouse actually call them ‘heads’ and the majority of retailers online ‘bullet heads’ I guess to be more specific - even if it isn’t technically isn’t the right term.

I ordered 300 I think but some to keep me going would be fantastic.

about 300/400Amax 162gn
400 x speer 145gn gold match boat tail
300x eld match 162gn
300x 150 gn sierra match
If you want any, lat me know, or even swap for primers( small r magnum ) ideally

Thanks but I have bought some Sierra Gameking. I did want to try RWS KS but couldn’t get them anywhere. @sassman186 is kindly sending me some of his home cast lead bullets for use at the gun club while I wait for my Shellhouse delivery.

If anyone has some 7mm RWS KS 162gr bullets they would part with though…
