Does anyone here remember that? I know there are a few on here old enough.
It was a UK-wide thing.
My Sister and I each planted a tree - in '73 (provided by the school I think? - memory is a bit vague)
We planted them in our garden but Mom and Dad moved to a small farm that year so I never knew what happened to the little trees we planted - they most likely died.
(My other post this evening which mentioned my son planting a tree jogged the memory.)
I would love to know if anyone else remembers this.
More so, It would be marvelous if some-one does and has a current picture of a tree planted from that initiative. If they do it must be pretty an impressive tree by now.
