Hi
I used to give it to a nice chap in Tadley for the heads prep, but he has stopped doing them. Any recommendations? I am not aware of anyone else in surroundings.
Happy to travel up to 30 minutes from RG22 postcode.

I dont mind the smell, just smells like your making a stew or brawn.

It is just meat after all.
I don't mind that much, someone who told me must have exaggerated. Maybe I'll try take as much skin I can before bringing it home.
What else would I need (any tools etc) if i decide to give it a go, other then a big pan to boil it in.

I just bury mine in the composter for a few months, leave it to the bugs To clean out. just done 2 heads, third is in there now. Will be moving on to bleaching next.
Mind you, never done it before so no idea if the results will be good.

As 'SS' above says. Bury it somewhere (or hang in a hedge) and let nature take it's course. If you choose to bury it somewhere, put something over it to prevent badgers, foxes and suchlike from digging it up. No specific tools required, just someone with a jet-wash to blast off the bits and some hydrogen peroxide to bleach it. As someone has mentioned, 'YouTube' is your friend.
Give it a go !

Careful where you hang it though - the squirrels love chewing them !

Bones will likely fall apart and be rather brown/yellow.

It won't smell yo.much if you.do it while it's fresh
Tools . Knife to skin it your stalking knife will do a saw to cut it.if you want to cut it not everybody does, a cheap wood saw from the.likes of.B&Q is fine for that.
That's the essentials but a long.nosr pliers and a small plain screwdriver or chisel are also.handy. watch your fingers!
