Telos is definitely better than the pro 2 mate

HIK, IRay, Guide, Senopex, PARD, Thermtec are all Chinese companies that design and manufacture their own thermal products
If you think they are only assembling products designed in the West (like IPhones) then don't kid yourself, the Chinese have all the technologies and capabilities to do all of their own design and manufacture
If you want a thermal not made or designed in China, then you need to buy Pulsar or, FLIR - but nobody's daft enough to buy anything FLIR sells in the UK
There are a few very good thermals designed and manufactured in the USA, but ITAR makes it difficult for their products to be sold here

I remember someone saying on a TV program about 60 years ago, when the Japs were producing stuff cheaper than we could, that the Chinese were much more clever than the Japanese.
I think so yes,better image detail I think,better feel in the hand, far better zoom and feels a more solid unit in my opinion mate. Plus you can upgrade the sensor in time? It also feels like it’s got a wider view and not as much tunnel vision. Just my opinion though others may vary. You have got to mind in that when the hellion 2 pro came out there was no real competition? Now with hik ect matching them with sensors pulsar can’t get away with being as high priced because people will just buy the cheaper option? But pulsar is definitely still the one to buy in my mind

The Krypton 2 is pretty damn good for the money a big improvement in image, design and mount over the old one..
The reality of that is it’s actually impossible to be worse.
Is there anything particularly that you are interested about?
Image quality and how high a mag can you realistically go with the day scope, as I believe the sensor is better than the original and is it easier to focus with the adjustment wheel on the side ?

My understanding looking at the spec is that the sensor and the pixel size are the same on the Krypton 1 as the Krypton 2 the improvements are to the mounting, size of unit and controls ?
I think you will find that it is a Lynred sensor in the Krypton 2 as opposed to a BAE sensor in the Original Krypton.
The new Krypton 2 has a European Lynred Sensor and the old one had a US BAE Sensor . There is also the fact its now got a magnesium housing, centralised menu and £1100 cheaper.
Image quality with Krypton 2 XG50 is excellent. I was able to see roe buck antlers at 50m without a problem. And I am talking in August not in the spring with velvet.
Pulsar is recomanding to use 2-6 mag for best results. I would say 8 is still usable.
Mounting on new PSP-B adapter is briliant. In combination with Pulsar 3x20B monokular you can actually use Krypton as dual role device.
It takes few seconds to attach it to the scope.
And 3x20B monokular allows you to see full display unlike previous 5x30 version.
I am waiting for XG35 version, which I believe is Axion XQ35 pro in Krypton 2 housing.
