Aimsport Moderators

I made enquiries today regarding potentially purchasing one of the above moderators, however, there is nobody in the UK importing them. I emailed the manufacturer who informed me there is no UK importer at the moment. Has anyone have an idea why this is the case from this Swedish company? I am particularly interested in their Triton No 5i Hunting Performance model.

Used to be Highland Outdoors IIRC

Maybe a few too many explosions (not heard of this happening, and I own one... :scared:) or trade price increased?

I spoke to Alan Rhone and Highland Outdoors today both companies don’t import their moderators anymore , apparently Aimsport has new ownership. However, I feel it a bit odd that Aimsport hasn’t expanded their market into the UK

Maybe it's just a delay because of the new owners? Although I think there hasn't been an importer for a while now so maybe more to it🤔

I've got two Triton 42 mods for a 223 and 6.5 Creedmoor and for stalking purposes they are ideal. I've done a couple of range sessions with them too and they've held up well with no adverse signs of over use.

a Member on here - Fallow Me had a AimZonic cyclone go bang on a 223. quite spectacularly!

Ive got a triton 42 on my 243, but went for a Stalon X108 on my recent 308 build to to lack of availability of the Aimsport

Great bits of kit though and the bang mentioned above was only because the mod was 10 ish yrs old. Given mods seem to be a disposable component these days i'd say that's a good innings.

DPT doing well for me, ASE UTRA also bombproof.

Had a Stalon on work 270 but appeared to be 'feathering' around the baffles after 300 rounds 🫣

Could you elaborate on the 'feathering' haven't come across this term before and google wasn't very useful!

What I am looking for is a decent mod to go on a blaser R8 300win mag calibre I thought the Aimsport would fit the bill so I could interchange between calibres as i have many R8’s which all share the same thread
