Well that stacks up with what Ian has said thenWhen i took the supposed flat baterry from the unit and put it back on charge, the charger still showed more than 50% battery charge.

Basically the battery indicator is incorrect so this all relates to the LRF also, as it’s looking at the battery voltage and thinking power is low when it is not !! So the software thinks the battery is very low and preventing LRF usage earlier than normal …Well that stacks up with what Ian has said then![]()
Agreed. What a disappointing series of bad experiences. I don’t have a Hik but to let something go onto the market when there is a clear issue is inexcusable. Poor show by Hik - get it sorted!

There was an issue with a small amount of units on the first batch , that was resolved promptly..My cq35 woukd keep rebooting when I pressed the lrf also. It didn't happen on the replacement cq50 I had maybe because I only had that one 24hrs.
Ian , do you think the battery issue will be resolved soon ?There was an issue with a small amount of units on the first batch , that was resolved promptly..
Please clarify promptly lol, my 50mm was away two weeks with no completion date. There was an issue with a small amount of units on the first batch , that was resolved promptly..
Elite initially stated a firmware uodate would sort it. A week later they said it needed a hardware change. My CQ35 has battery issues as described previously. Elite contacted me immediately after I contacted dealer and explained that there is a software issue on some units and hopefully will be resolved by end of week. Should be able to upgrade software using Hik app.
As a matter of interest the problem isn't as bad using 3.35Ah batteries as the supplied 3.2Ah ones.
I hope so...Ian , do you think the battery issue will be resolved soon ?
