Condor thoughts?

My condor CQ35L arrived on sat initially I was very impressed I had travelled down to a demo night in Dumfries just to get a look at the condor and the habrok. so today was the first real field test first fully charges battery in on the last bar within 25 minutes no rangefinder available. Sticks another battery in I get just under 1 hr 30 minutes this time not great but better 3rd time lucky nope 45 minutes and again on the last bar. But during this whole process I also got another issue with the screen it was appearing like there was a snail trail on the screen and it was like it was screen burn making the unit hopeless to use. I have managed to get a couple of pics with my phone of the said fault. When you do a power reset it does dissappear but is still faintly visible like screen burn on an old monitor. So by early afternoon I had given so I thought I would give the company a call to inform them of my issues and to try and get a resolution unfortunately when I called I was told this is the busiest day of the year and the guy I need to speak to is far too busy so they will get him to call back sometime? I asked if this would be today most likely not was the answer so it looks like once they have your money they don't really care they are too busy taking more money off other people to deal with repeat customers issues. I won't mention the company as I will give them a chance to redeem themselves. So a day wasted today and tomorrow is now a non starter suppose I will need to wait by the phone just incase the call back ever happens. Sorry about the long winded rant but poor service especially if they know that there could be an issue with them.
 
What a disappointing series of bad experiences. I don’t have a Hik but to let something go onto the market when there is a clear issue is inexcusable. Poor show by Hik - get it sorted!

i have just sent mine back as every time you press the lrf button it turned its self off i am not at all happy as i sold my xq50 to fund this unit now i am stuck with out a unit

My cq35 woukd keep rebooting when I pressed the lrf also. It didn't happen on the replacement cq50 I had maybe because I only had that one 24hrs.
 
Spoke to Elite opics this morning and parts should be in friday , watch this space ! Seriously thinking refund and go back to pulsar !
 
My CQ35 has battery issues as described previously. Elite contacted me immediately after I contacted dealer and explained that there is a software issue on some units and hopefully will be resolved by end of week. Should be able to upgrade software using Hik app.
As a matter of interest the problem isn't as bad using 3.35Ah batteries as the supplied 3.2Ah ones.

Elite initially stated a firmware uodate would sort it. A week later they said it needed a hardware change.
 
They said there were a few with hardware problems, something to do with the battery chamber, the rest were waiting for software/firmware update, we'll have to see. Whatever arises they will have to resolve the issue, they can't afford not to and neither can I.
