Condor thoughts?

Same on my condor, that needs fixed as it gets in the way
Very annoying , will ring and find out the craic after Xmas ! Shame as great fit in hand and clarity just not the finnished unit ! Could have should have then it would be a seller , i wouldnt go hik again !

So is this now resolved ? I’m considering purchasing the condor 50, but don’t want to spend £2500 to be disappointed by battery life. Appreciate any input!

I am totally disappointed as I sold my pulsar helion xq50 so I could upgrade to the condor and was looking forward to my purchase.I am so pleased I have read all the problems as I was going to order this week.I think I will just save some extra money now and go back to pulsar.

So faults reported to date

1.battery life problems or battery display readings incorrect.
2.lrf reading incorrect upto 80yrds
3.screen freezing
4.unit switching off
5.unable to use LRF because of battery level dropping to low.
6.internal part coming loose in transportation

That is basically everything I have read from the start of this thread regarding condor.
I still believe Hik products are in fact good quality.just think this unit has been rushed onto market before it has gone through extensive testing.

My unit came back from Optics Warehouse over the Xmas period. Whilst it has been a real hassle, OTW have been really good with the comms and offer of a loan unit, plus quick efficient DPD turnaround and delivery.

The new unit is working as promised - fantastic image quality, battery and LRF issues resolved etc. Finally really pleased with the unit and I'm actually glad of the switch from Pulsar.

Been dealing with elite optical for mine , so far my issues appear to be sorted and the unit is working as it should be .

Really pleased with the picture and clarity,

Is your rangefinder dot permanently on ? My battery issue is fixed after the firmware update but I can’t get the rangefinder dot off now

Yes that's how they have designed it now (since firmware update). The distance box is always on screen now as well and there are many more settings for how long you want the RF to work for.

You can turn RF off in settings if you want.

If you turn it off in the settings then as soon as you press the range button it comes back on and stays on, it’s pretty distracting

In the market for a Thermal spotter with LRF

Can any tell me the differences between the Condor pro CQ35L and the Pro CQ50L ?

Is the extra £600 justified for the CQ50L over the CQ35L?

Thanks
Jack
