For Sale: 5th leg kits for quad sticks (£15 + P&P)

Hello all,

I was curious what the 5th leg was like on viperflex sticks, however was reluctant to spend £60+ to find out.
So I designed and 3d printed a kit to enable the use of a garden pole for the 5th leg!
It is designed to both pivot and swivel giving maximum usage options in the field.
I have since extensively tested this kit, and am satisfied it can stand up to the rigors of stalking, so as such have decided to advertise for sale.

Please see attached photos for the kit. If you chose to purchase you will receive everything needed for the 5th leg except for the garden pole which will cost about £4. The reason I have opted to exclude this is it would be prohibitively expensive for P&P!

Edit: 13/01/24 - I now have a working product that is compatible with bushwear sticks!
Please see additional photos added of the bushwear adaptor

14/03/24 - The bushwear adaptor is also compatible with the seeland sticks!

15/04/25 - I also have adaptors for Mjoelner, fiery and 4stablesticks

All sticks other than viperflex will require you to drill a 4mm hole to mount the adaptor on the face of the sticks

Here's a link to the pole you'll need

I could probably modify these to suit other brands of quad sticks, so feel free to PM me and we can chat!

Kind regards

KS

Might as well try 3D printing the rest which can be used with 5 garden poles. Probably can snap in the poles and it can be a quad stick with a support leg. I think you are very close to it which would significantly bring down the total cost for quad sticks and the best part is one can replace the sticks without having to spend an arm and a leg.

I have a friend who 3d prints also and he has a design for this in the pipeline!

Just an aside, I’ve found the “clip-on” style of 5th leg attachment to be very good in the field as it allows me to slide it up and down the leg it’s attached to give a fine elevation control after you’ve quickly set them up on the target.
