New dog bed - burst in 7 minutes...any recommendations?

On a connected note, has anyone used one of these back seat hammock type protectors for a car/truck ?
Any recommendations?
Orvis looked good but no longer sell dog stuff in the UK

Unless you have one like my bitch, lasts 3-4 days (scratches through it) so she is back to straw while the two dogs have had them for 2 years with no problems
My dog is a real chewer and will destroy anything. Eating a whole fallow pelvis is nothing to him! He's pretty rough with this one when he trying to get comfortable and turn it over but luckily he won't chew it. He'll have a go at the vet bedding but that's relatively cheap to replace.

Comfort drop front in full highland dress!
Nice, that’s what ours has, only in black but with the luxury pillow. You won’t be disappointed, until I bought her this one a few years back i never thought it possible to be excited about the arrival of a dog bed. But I was excited and so was my girlfriend , and we were really happy when we unpacked it. Ours only needed a small one ( BMH lab cross) but she’s got the XL and loves it. Lots of upside down snoring and sleeping yoga stretches :D
Kindest regards, Olaf

I buy these now exclusively as it's the only bed that's never been chewed up by 3 different dogs. I throw one or two pieces of vet bedding on it and then wash them in the machine once a week and this gets wiped down. It's properly waterproof, not that cheap nylon canvas stuff that falls apart in a few months. As it's properly waterproof you can hose it down if needed and it doesn't smell as doesn't hold any scent on it, especially after a spray and wipe down.

Just ordered my second one of these, as the first has proven so successful.

Many thanks for the recommendation :tiphat:

My young lab x GWP liked to remove the Tuffie from her box, quite impressive given the dimensions. A wee protest at being in the kennel too long. IMG-20240101-WA0007.webp

@ Malxwal I use K+M kennels too. A fishbox fits perfectly front to back and then fill with desired bedding, I've used both straw and wood shavings. Boxes can get chewed a bit but pretty robust.

The whole kennel block is getting moved into an outbuilding. I think she'll be getting straw if she doesn't settle a bit as she gets older. Still a fair element of pup about her. In her defense(sort of) the Tuffie was previously slightly damaged by a previous dweller, so she had something to go at.

i have used tuffie beds my chessie loves them hers lasts her 5 min before ripped so must be nice beds lol if u have a chewer dog nothing with last sadly
