Seat Belt Blanks?

Hi All,

A few years ago I was out fishing with a ghillie on the Benmore Estate on Mull.

He had these nifty metal clips that slotted into the seat belt buckle, with the handles cut out in the shape of a stag's head. They were apparently a gift from a client a few years prior and was telling me how (according to the client) there were all sorts available. Stags, game birds and salmon. Problem was, as it was a gift, he had no idea where to actually get them from.

So was wondering if anyone on here had come across them afore and could point me in the direction?

(Yes I know I could just buy a pair of plain car ones for a couple of quid, but they did look pretty )

I was given a car one to stop the pimging when in the revier but it did not fit my Subaru so be warned s/b clips are not all the same.

Someone on here does 3D printing for the 5th leg of quad sticks. A trace of your seat belt clip would do to ensure that they fitted your car. The design after that would be your's I would have thought? I have two spare seat belt clips for my FL2. I done a tracing and went to a local scrapper. The ones I use came off a VW Passat and cost £1 each.

Someone on here does 3D printing for the 5th leg of quad sticks. A trace of your seat belt clip would do to ensure that they fitted your car. The design after that would be your's I would have thought? I have two spare seat belt clips for my FL2. I done a tracing and went to a local scrapper. The ones I use came off a VW Passat and cost £1 each.

Might give that a go if no luck on a ready to go item!

As an aside, I use an old seat belt as a drag rope for carcass retrieval, brilliant bit of xtra cheap kit

Try the Franconia catalogue. I bought two in the Wurzburg shop. One boars head. One roe buck. One has a bottle opener as well. Will post photo when I get out of this freezing fallow free high seat!

Another suggestion which may not be applicable to new cars. On my 2008 Nissan Navara I just pulled the plug under the seat. Peace and quiet forever.

To be honest, I've been quite happy just sitting on the seat belt (usually in waders). But recently remembered about the ghillie's neat little clips.

As it was from a stalking guest (hence being stag heads) I thought a question on here might be a decent shout in actually finding them
