Out a week or so ago up.in the borders . ( I don't post much no more .but me and the boys are still dropping deer ) . Nowt spotted at first light on a wet / shite foggy morning with thermal n binos . So headed back to van n had a brew. We headed out after at bout 9 30am ....i decided to park my ass with the wind in my kisser inbetween the forest edge and a pocket of hardwoods . R ball bags does wat he does . . Sat down shaking like a good un .looking at me then looking at forest edge . Looking at me .then looking at forest edge ....
2 dots in the thermal on the forest edge ( steady lad ....) follower pops out and is dropped by the 308) " steady lad " 5 mins later the doe pops out . " steady lad "
Bang ...doe and follower dropped in the more or les10yds of each other ....
