Interested to know thoughts of you all.
I had a peruque head buck on my ground last year. I only saw it through the thermal when it was laid down and the heat from the head was so strong. I saw it one other time again through thermal and despite best efforts never caught up with it.
Keen to try the new Secacam I put it where I saw the buck last year and less than 24 hours later this image arrived.
It looks peruque to me by the thickness of velvet at the base of the ears and age of animal. Interested in you opinion.
I got the still and will get the video off later.IMG_5049.webp

How long ago was the photo taken. By now a mature buck would be clean, or at least in tatters

Certainly looks like a peruque. If it is it needs shooting as soon as you can. Where about is this? What part of the country is this in?

It’s Northumberland. I tried to get it last year but it lives not accessible woods. Will be putting a high seat up.
