Grid at bottom of tray

I have been advised to put a grid in the bottom of a plasters bath to keep the deer off the wet bottom of the bath, is this something that can be purposely bought, or get some mesh and cut it myself, any advice would be appreciated.

Just the sort of thing I was about to suggest.

Well worth using something like this if you're putting the animal into the container before it's been gralloched when there's a high chance the red stuff will leak out everywhere!

Wood is a bad idea because it's hard to clean and would not meet food regs standards and the same for anything that would rust.

Cut the base out of 2 bread trays they have a good shape to start with.
