Paramo

Just had a look at the Paramo website. A banner at the top says that their workshop is swamped with garment repair work. Makes you wonder.

Cheers
Repair service. Fortis . Barbour etc have the same Repair service .
I have a fortis smock i bought that years ago at the stalking fair in kelso £320.00 . I have tried various reproofing sprays and washes. I get wet when it rains . When hot sweat like a hippo in a whore house .

the Paramo Velez smock is excellent, but like mentioned need a lot of care/washing to work properly, only downside I found were the pockets are crap. a good compromise would be Hilltreks cotton analogy, ventile outer and nikwax analogy like the paramo.

They are anti hunting to the extreme though, so controversial. I met with the company and proposed a partnership to sell into the shooting and trade , and I was asked to leave because of the industry.

I think they’re great products, but they do NOT want hunters wearing them it seems 😂

Bizzare
All the more reason to wear it. I have a few bits of paramo gear and it’s very good. It’s a shame they have that attitude but they must know that offering the colours they do, a few of them will wind up in hunters hands.

Colours.
The first one i bought is dark blue and the one I have just bought is red. So if deer see in the colour band of sepia or different shades of grey . Will red blend in better with a green or brown back ground like orange does 🤔

I gather deer can't see reds but can see blue and obviously dark stands out more in all environments other than conifer/heather areas

That's what I thought . Orange would have been better but red will do

Bought mine off vinted for £100 . Retail £280
Just bought a smock for £40. Retail about £90.
Everything I have bought off vinted has been
In mint condition some still with labels on
That's a good tip off re Vinted. My daughter uses it to buy and sell clothes but I never thought of that, I have just looked and it's much better for clothing than ebay that I have been using
