7kg muntjac doe at 50p a kg.. ammunition will soon cost more than the carcassThe rounds/cartridges are the cheapest part of shooting. Decent weight deer in the game dealer say £1.50 a kg then your 2 quid round is a bargain.
75p for a high end cartridge and people pay £50.00 to shoot a pheasant...

I've got 1000 SRP GM205. Are they similar? What do you reckon the going rate for 100x Federal GM210M primers would be?
I think the GM205 is basically the small rifle version of the GM210?I've got 1000 SRP GM205. Are they similar?
Sounds like they're still £26 a box?They were indeed
I’m still using some Federal from about 10 years ago with a £26 price sticker on the box. Quite a price increase in anybody’s book!
A lot of my reloading components I had ordered in, and paid for in advance.. your not depriving others of consumables as they’d not have been on the shelf otherwise… People are just frustrated that they either didn’t have the foresight to invest in their hobby or interest, or lacked the funds to make such an investment..I was called out for buying 10,000 Murom primers a couple of years ago, but who is going to do a 280 mile round trip to buy 100 prmers?
Decent primers to!Two days after Putin's 2022 march into the never ever land I bought 5,000 Murom Russian small rifle primers for 164.90 Euros. = 0.033 cents each.
What ever you do as a hobby you have a budget, I don't do clays or game shooting as one is really expensive the other I have no interest in these days. I might fire a dozen shots on a flt on the marsh but it will be a few hours of some very good shooting also the dogs get a good run.Whilst I don’t disagree with your general sentiment it’s not universally applicable. For people who are involved mainly or entirely with target shooting, ammunition costs form a significant part of the total yearly shooting budget.
As these are clearly preowned, half the retail value or less. What do you reckon the going rate for 100x Federal GM210M primers would be?

Until they drop 80% in value of courseHindsight is a wonderful thing.
Bitcoin and primers are quite similar in that whenever you buy them, it always feel very expensive but in a vanishingly small period of time, your previous purchases feel unbelievably sound and good value.
Same with diesel, cost me £25 years ago and still only £25 now.Sounds like they're still £26 a box?
The only difference is that yesteryear's box contained 1,000x and todays box contains 100x?
Once firedAs these are clearly preowned, half the retail value or less.
