As i look at that it would need a berdan type case as the options look not to make the anvil required for a boxer primer.

I wondered the same thing, but after reading it. I think the "hardener", that goes over the priming compound, acts as an anvil. I'm just guessing at this point, but that's the only thing that makes sense to me.

interesting idea, you may be correct, but you would think if a viable alternative then industry would use that method as it would appear to reduce the complexity and hence cost of mass production.
