A west coast estate is looking for an enthusiastic and capable individual to undertake a range of estate duties. Principal duties will involve stalking and deer management, cattle husbandry and property maintenance. The successful applicant will be self-motivated and able to work effectively within time constraints, both independently or as part of a small team. DSC1&2 are essential along with at least 5 years of previous practical experience of deer management in the Highlands. Applicants possessing a trade, experience with cattle husbandry and operating plant and machinery will have an advantage. Flexibility to work irregular hours is important and a driving license is essential.
Salary level is in the range of £25k - £27k
Housing and vehicle to be provided.
Closing date: Friday 21st June
Interviews to take place in Inverness on Wednesday 3rd July

Don't quote me but it could be Applecross estate.... when the add was first published it had the name of the agent for that estate (or was at that estate) to send correspondence to.. then the add was re-published with a different correspondence address.(always research as much as possible before applying for jobs)..
 
To be honest am not really looking, job I have is descent, not stalking related at current place, I do miss it however it would need to be a descent set up to go back to it, still working in conservation sector, you are correct with doing plenty research on job adverts there’s usually a story behind most in the private sector if it isn’t a case of retirement of previous fella. 👍🏼
