Take that labour has been running Wales for years and there still shooting I heard that they have shelved the idea of licensing game bird release and not restricted it
Surely every shooter already knows the Green Party are anti shooting and will ban it asap, I know I don't need BASC to highlight this and I don't even need to open the Green Party manifest to know that they are totally against our sport

The real sad thing in all this is just how **** scared we all are, why?
I'll tell you why, its because we aint free and we don't have any set in stone rights.
We do what we do by the grace of overlords, overlords that you dim wits vote in all the time.
Its like choosing which boot you want to kick you up the arse FFS.
The whole lot of them just sound like slurry dribbling out of a bulls arse sweetened with that old English standard, " lets ban something" for good measure.
If banning things actually worked the UK (DTL) should be a paradise by now!

I don't understand why you think that BASC is unaware of the party manifestos being published just because I am not posting updates on manifestos on this forum as and when they are published. Why would you come to that conclusion?
enfieldspares makes a very good point. Where were ALL our shooting organisations when this manifesto was published ? So caught up with lead and non lead that this sailed past them without being noticed ! You might say the Greens will not win the election, so it will not matter anyway. But what happens if Liebour do not get a clear majority, and turn to the Greens to form a coalition ? ALL our organisations need to be on the ball.

To be fair, the election manifestos have only been published in recent days and not even all of them yet.
The Greens are an absurdity. Their ideas on shooting may only irritate fairly few, but very, very few people are going to vote for someone who wants to whack massive extra costs on their holidays, make them go vegan and their dozens of other ****ish idiocies. We don't need to worry about them.

They’re making considerable gains in Suffolk local councils & I’d say growing in popularity

Of course they will! They voted for lead bans, why not cozy up with the enemy just to stay alive a bit longer
It's strange, but our "green" party have no anti hunting or anti hunters rethoric in their party program. Allthough I assume they hate our guts, but they dont dare say so. Because close to 40% of our voters are hunters. And many more voters have a dad, uncle, husband or granddad that hunts. Get more Brits in to hunting. You have plenty of game to go around. Much more than we have. Invite your friends , children , wives and neighbors and make it affordable. That will safeguard your hunting.
