Smock/ jacket reccomemdation

On the pictures for the torrent 3 on ebay
It doesn’t show how many pockets they have
But there are 2 big front pockets which have the side pockets on them to and they also have another 2 pockets higher up on each side
Then inside zipped pocket
And I found a new pocket the other day which I didn’t know was there
next to the zip 😂

For £120 mate,you can’t go wrong 👍
That sounds pretty good to be fair and as you say you can't really go wrong at £120. Thanks again.

I may be letting my Swedteam smock go in the very near future, its the Swedteam Ridge Pro M Smock in green, size 56 i believe or 46" chest. Roo pouch at front, poachers pocket at back, long side zip for ease of getting on, hood, cuff with thumb hole, belt loops go under the rear pouch. If of interest ping me a pm mate

Thanks very much for the offer, unfortunately I think I'd need the next size up at the moment.

I would advise against a smock for stalking, unless it can be unzipped all the way down the front (in which case it's not really a smock).

Whenever I've stalked in the company of someone wearing a smock it's been a right old palava when they start to get a bit warm and want to shed a layer: stop, put rifle and sticks down, wriggle out of backpack straps, and then undergo a load of bodily contortions to get said smock off over the head, noisily and with much arm waving. Repeat procedure in reverse as temperature drops.

Much better to have multiple zipped layers that can be zipped and unzipped on the move, without actually stopping and taking anything off, in order to regulate temperature.
you're not wrong the best of both worlds is; a smock for length and pit-zips for ventilation

Either a C95 or Para smock which you can spray with Fabsil to make pretty water resistant (not waterproof). They are silent, hard wearing, loads of pockets and can be washed without ruining them. I’m currently on an old C95 which is good for all but the heaviest downpours.

Recently picked up a Harkila Packable smock, only used twice but so far very happy with it, not sure it'll take harsh treatment but then its lightweight and don't sweat to death yet remain dry in rain
