Wanted: Live fallow buck

Looking for a buck for an additional herd I'm establishing on a new site.
(Unfortunately I can't simply relocate one of my existing bucks, as I don't have facilities for catching and handling).

Common coloured or menil, not melanistic (black) or leucistic (white).
Must be TB tested.
I won't be able to collect until September (because that's when the does are arriving).

Not at all.
Quite a few members of this site are involved in park deer management, and will no doubt have contacts within that sector of the industry even if they themselves are unable to help.

A possible alternative would be to get someone to come and dart one of my existing bucks, but I think that might end up costing more than simply buying a new one.

Can’t assist but just curious. When you’re buying a breeding buck for meat rearing what do you look for aside from the fact it’s got four legs and the right bits swinging between them?

Length, width and depth of body.
(The same criteria you should be selecting for in your wild herds).

North Wales based, but travel fairly regularly across to East Anglia, usually with a livestock trailer in tow.
Budget = realistic. Some of the big places we've contacted (such as Petworth) are asking way too much.
Big heads = big money, and that's what most people seem to be breeding for. But I'm interested in big bodies, not big heads.

Not sure if they've got catching facilities there though? I was there fairly recently and didn't see any evidence of it.
