Would be good if @Blackwood Outdoors could offer another side to the story, I’ve spent a fair bit with Ian over the years and always found him good to deal with. Sometimes there’s a very human reason why it can take a while to sort things out. Sometimes life happens.

It's quite simple - goods are faulty - seller avoiding to do the right thing :

I bought stuff from him before, 3 items he had on sale. They looked like they had been pulled out of a skip, eventually he agreeed to refund my money and return postage costs. He stung me for the return postage and just stopped communication. Never dealt with him since.

Seems like it's a regular thing to try & stitch a few customers

You contacted me yesterday when I was travelling from Edinburgh. I've not had chance to reply to the email that was sent yesterday ! , So you give it one day then come on here slagging me off...

If a man contacted you to buy something you would reply immediately - the same is therefore expected when people have issues - even if its just -
"I will deal with this for you on Monday"
We sell vehicles - and again we have issues as like you we dont make the things and things break.
I tell my lads - any issues just have it back

I wasn't aware emails don't work on the train, you manage to go online on the forum no bother! I'd quite happily come & see you face to face, I've no problem there at all, I'm no keyboard warrior - getting cocky with attitude won't resolve an issue with faulty goods

You message me on a Friday (yesterday) when I was travelling and don't get a reply instantly and then come on here moaning the very next morning. What do you expect ?
The units are brand new from Sportsman, check the serial number contact them, you have 14 days to return an item for a refund, regardless if it's faulty, whats your actual point in this thread ?

Bring it down and sort it with me directly , I've already tried calling you, after seeing this post... Beggars belief..

I can assure you, it will be the last thing you ever get from us anyway. I have zero time for people like this in life..

I asked on the email for the return address as per your returns statement on your website - this item will be returned once you respond with the address & via PayPal the original payment method.

When did you email ? Yesterday . I replied to one message and on checking you replied again and I never got chance to reply, due to travelling. So you then run amok on a forum , when you would of been sorted, if you just waited for a reply on a weekend...

I also see you commented on this thread YESTERDAY .

That's a TOTALLY NORMAL thing to do , wait a day and go slagging people off , unbelievable !!

To be expected, they all crawl out the woodwork . Never the full story though....
 
Quite simple, send your address to return this item - reply via the PayPal request, I'm not getting into a heated argument for this!
