Legal insurance

Yes, I have used the search button and read the numerous posts but it's a minefield. I can't decide who to go with for my insurance for recreational and pest/fox control insurance.

On the one hand someone like NGO with seperate legal or CCC3 with their legal cover added.

The one thing that never seems to pop up is how these companies act when a legal claim actually drops on their door step.

I am aware of one provider who charged a £1000 for a solicitors letter at start of legal process, so was wondering if anyone else come across something similar.

Spent hours looking at the small print but like I said it's a minefield.

Any comments appreciated.

Before I joined NGO I used Cliverton to insure me for Pest Control. The cost was £140 per annum.
On joining the NGO I duly received my paperwork and found that the insurance they provided was with Cliverton. Same policy and cover for less than half the cost.

Hi

I've gone over to NGO and then the half-price 'add-on' for legal cover - reading the cover summary suggested covers my risk(s)/needs.
