Hunting Boot Shops

I'm looking to buy a decent pair of gore-tex high hunting boots (potentially, Lowa, Crispi, Hanwag....etc.) but not precisely sure what brand yet since I want to try some pairs on and see which ones suit my feet.

I'm based down in Sussex and can't seem to find a shop neaby(ish) which stocks a variety of decent brands so I can try some on. All the shops which have decent stock are based a while away from me.

Does anyone have any shop recommendations in the south of England which would stock such hunting boots for me to try on?

Thanks

Are you planning on going to the Game Fair? All the major brands will be there for you to try on.

Frustratingly I'm away for the Game Fair. But do they stock all major hunting boots? From a quick review of the exhibitor list, it doesn't seem like there are any Hanwag or Crispi stores...

I always used Lowa mountain gtx and loved them, however the replacement boot doesn’t appeal to me.
I have some high unlined Lundhags that have done a season and a half and so far so good I rate them

I tried Crispi on at Scone and they were too narrow although really nice boots, so I got some lower summer/spring/ walking boots off Brandacosse. Really impressed with the quality

Chris Potter in Tunbridge?
Southdown gun club recently had a load of Beretta gtx high boots in at a good price, Think the were around £170

Similar issue where I live in Hampshire. With wide feet was advised to not go crispi as narrow and also as previous meindl owner, I was put off by quality issues of their new boots. Long story but ended up buying off Rob @ monarch who asked for feet measurements and the Lowa fit great, best boots I have had.

I bought a pair of Zamberlan boots a couple of years ago. Previously I was a Meindl disciple. At the end of the season I went and bought another pair from the store. Both are still 100% waterproof and comfortable.

Last year Crispi were in another company's store, I think it might have been one of the fox caller businesses.

I'm more than happy with my Hanwags.

I've had Lundhags, Haix, Lowa etc but for fit the current ones are best. £300
