Best budget knives for gralloching a deer?

I had a pm (10th Feb) from Malcom advising he had spoken to you about you conduct stating that
It is not your place to pass comments about family members (Is it!!)
You last swipe about me living with my mother was the 9th of Feb this year and she died in 2013 as I have saved the PM from Malcom
some time before you had mentioned it also.
Not sure what your problem is that you have you drag peoples family members into ANY format on here but you have done it twice with me and had a warning from Admin about it. You seem to be able to explain reloading firearms knives fac conditions quite well then explain why you feel the need to do say that about peoples family?
You mention about snide comments YET you made 2 had a warning from ADMIN about the one on the 9th of Feb.
FFS. Stick to Pigeon watch.

Another option for a reasonably priced knife is at a knife sharpening shop. I stumbled In The door of one the other day and found an expensive German Steel boning knife for $25. I looked for it on eBay and the lowest price I found for it was $125. It seems that a lot of people bring knives in but forget to
Pick them up. After a time, the owner just sells them for what he has in it. Your on your own for a sheath though.

Boning knives are cheap disposable items that are only "good enough". Usual cost is 10-15 dollars/pounds/euros. And you get decent quality, remember the main audience is professionals, they don't play around with overpriced fancy items.

Knives are touched up few times while working, then thrown into a bucket (or whatever they fancy) and sharpened with some kind of machine at the end of day.

A 5” victorianox curved blade ( the 6”and is suited to splitting the ribs etc particularly non the larger species the little blue unzipper/skinner is all you need, the victorianox will always be sharp and do anything the un zipper - slip a hole in the gut skin with the victorianox and the unzipper will do the rest on a field gralloch, and you leave not a mark on the internals / ribs and it will cut everything off inside as required very neatly.
when you get to the larder top an tail with victorianox and take it’s coat with the little blue knife all done cheap as chips
All you need will be a strop and a small steel it will last forever and cost next to nothing and you can even boil them if you want, best piece of kit you’ll own

Every knife drawer should have these, real decent piece of kit b

You can get a little better but not at that price

Mora Knives all day long, get the bright orange one so you can find with a phone torch when drop in that darkest corner of the field... and if you can't find it, you won't cry yourself to sleep about it

Back to the original question. Anything you like that is sharp and held in the hand that knows what it is doing. Anatomy knowledge trumps blades
