Wonder whether its a result of the recent "on the bus, off the bus" approach by RM to carriage of knives as I think they are AliExpress' ultimate delivery "partner". If you can order one for me, I'd fully reimburse you

Aliexpress pretty much only use Evri now so their packages are recorded. I looked at that knife and shipping was available to me. Different sellers of the same product often have slightly different costs and rules for shipping so it is worth looking around on the site.

U couldn’t get them to deliver to me either. The price is now £20.01 plus taxes.

I have a Buck knife always on my belt when stalking but I got a Mora about six deer ago and it’s still incredibly sharp yet I haven’t done anything to it. The sheath isn’t as good so I wouldn’t trust it on my belt but great to resheath and place on the ground whilst gralloching to keep it clean.

I ordered one for @wytonpjs in the week so we’ll have to see if it gets delivered. In November!

Do they?

They take an edge well and are easy to Sharon as they are carbon steel but they lose it pretty quickly. I imagine a few heads and legs and they’ll need to be resharpened.

This is spot on but you would be hard pressed to find one quicker or easier to touch up or resharpen. I would still go down the Mora stainless route though.

All knives loose there edge if you keep hitting bone same as any cutting edge just the stalking world Karen's make such a fuss it is not like they are on the cutting line where the next 3/4 ton Bullock is heading their way followed by the next one.

It can only be the bone as the rest is soft!

Point being Tim, O’ Font of Wisdom, who knows better than everyone, is some just need to be touched up/honed after a couple of animals, some will be dull and need actually resharpening.

That’s because the steel is soft, generally steel that is easy to sharpen loses its edge a lot quicker so it’s a trade off.

DMT diamond sharpening stones and strop on a leather belt, I did reprofile the edge on that knife when I bought it, it’s done several deer now including heads and legs and has only had a touch up with a 1200 grit once or twice and a strop on a leather belt each time and has kept it edge.

A tripe blade is a knife, often with a concave edge with a blunt end, allows you to open up the abdomen without fear of snagging the rumen. They are handy on really bloated deer that have sat there up to the end of a high seat session, but in reality if you have a good sharp knife you can protect the point with your finger tip and run that up, achieves the same thing.

Not sure what your problem is that you have you drag peoples family members into ANY format on here but you have done it twice with me and had a warning from Admin about it. You seem to be able to explain reloading firearms knives fac conditions quite well then explain why you feel the need to do say that about peoples family?

Carbon steel Mora if your happy to oil it after use etc it will hold it's edge better than stainless.
