First Muntjac Buck - Possible Medal?

Well a 4am alarm Sunday morning got me out of bed... On the ground for 5am, just starting to get light. And for once it was dry and a clear sky.
By 7.10am I was elated to have taken my first Muntjac Buck of my stalking career.
Lovely looking specimen, and have been told it could be worth a medal, which would be cherry on the cake!
Thoughts?

That’s a medal all day long. As above find your local Cic assessor and drop it off to them. Let us know how it goes.

Easy enough to measure it yourself to have an ideea.

I measured one before i took it to an CIC assessor and i was only 1 point off.

Cracking buck btw !

That should make a medal. Never easy from photos, but going by past Munties I have taken I would guess Silver, maybe gold.

Can send you a measuring guide if you want to measure it yourself? It’s not difficult to get a reasonably accurate score with munties. Be careful with it though. Looks like it was about to cast.

Well.... the unthinkable has happened, hung it up to let nature take it's course under the advise of the gamekeeper and it's gone missing!! I may add I have 100% trust in the gamekeeper, so it's very odd it's gone missing.
Gutted is an understatement.
