Quality stalking and fishing on auction! Don't miss out

A few years back the Outer Hebrides Fisheries Trust held and auction and some members on this forum benefited from it, one report can be found here:

The Trust are running the auction again this year, kicking off in about a week, with some fantastic stalking and fishing opportunities for the 2025 season. Some more lots were added today so it is possible there are still more to come. Some of the things on offer rate as "money can't buy" so for those in the know this really is a fantastic opportunity. It is also the case that the last time they didn't get much publicity for the auction and so I think it is fair to say that the lots sold at well below the market rate.

As I understand it the auction will start on the 17th October but the list of the available lots can be seen on the website, it is just you can't bid as yet:

I did check with Admin that I could give this a punt here as the Trust are a registered charity who do conservation work in the Hebrides and are involved in national and international projects around salmon conservation. I have no connection with the Trust other than that I know some of the people involved simply because I fish in the hebrides and the fishing/stalking community there is quite small. I might bid on some lots myself so really I should be keeping the whole thing as quiet as possible to try and keep prices down for me but these are opportunities that you really shouldn't miss - I'd guess if you know why then you know.

Oh dear god, here we go again. And I just turned 50 2 days ago so it would be wrong not to have a little bid.
It would be a shame not to. There might be more lots to come, I don't know that for sure but one appeared yesterday out of the blue. In theory I think bidding wasn't supposed to start until the 17th but I notice that some of the items now seem to have bids on them so not sure what is going on there.

Some lovely Lots on offer..... the photo on Lot 2 and Lot 3 seem strangely familiar - anything to do with your fine filming skills @caorach ?:D

I noticed that those images were taken from one of my videos :-) I used to take lots of photos etc. and so when the trust were looking to do a website I sent them some of the pictures to help them out (must have been some grabs of frames from the videos as well) but I'm happy enough for them to use the pictures for other purposes as they do a lot of good work, as do the individual estates, so it is only right that I do what little I can to help out. I need to watch this auction now to see what I can afford.

In part I'm giving this a bump just to generate some interest but... This auction officially opens for bidding today (though to be honest I think it has actually been active for a while) and there are already some bids on some of the lots. All of the fishing/stalking locations in this little report I posted in 2017 are actually available in the auction so you need to get bidding ASAP:

The auction is here, and I notice some new lots have appeared:
