No idea - live in a bungalow!
I suspect stairs might be a step (!) too far though the manual advises that it has a fall/drop sensor which automatically backs it away from said steps. A pity a similar device couldn’t be fitted to elderly parents…

They not only learn their environment they map it to your ifone and compile a floor plan picture which through the app can be used to label rooms - you can track each swipe per room live. The little rascal can then be told to do any/all of these, when finished it puts itself away in a dock/charging unit - it really is better than watching tv!
For goodness sake, it is so good Lady FB is almost smiling…

I have a mate who owns one of these robot vacuum jobbies. He (well, his Mrs) also has two silly little furball doglets. The cartoon in this post does not do it justice I can tell you. A furball doglet thing with an upset tummy and a robot that happily scoots around the very large kitchen 'painting' the floor is NOT something you want to come home to often !

I worked for three months with Electrolux in Stockholm 1999 working on the first ever robot vacs plastic housings. It was sold as the Trilobyte as it looked like a fossil. Back then they were priced as footballers wives toys for around 5K.
They told me to never vac up spilt flour as it kills the filters in all vacs.

what you lot like, I made it very clear to my good lady many years back before we got married I would not interfere with her hobbies, washing up, washing the cloths, ironing, hovering, gardening if she did not interfere with my hobbies, shooting and fishing, has worked well over the years
