Vacancy: Nightshooting helpers

I have a team of deer controllers who are regularly looking for stand-in nightshooting assistance due to staff holidays, compassionate leave or career progression. Our guys work numerous parcels of land in Argyll & Bute and Stirlingshire.

As a minimum, helpers will need to already posses either a firearms / shotgun certificate or provide a police disclosure which can be acquired for a modest fee relatively quickly. If not already attained, candidates will also be required to undertake manual handling and emergency first aid training (inc. a forestry module) at their own cost prior to commencing work which again can be acquired at modest cost relatively quickly. Certification is not a major barrier.

The work is generally weather dependant due to the mountainous terrain that we work in so it would be advantageous that potential candidates are prepared to commute at short notice.

Details of the work and pay will require to be discussed direct with the individual controllers but by registering an interest by email, you will be exposed to a wider pool of potential work. For those willing to work out in nature, the work is mountain-tough but rewarding. You will be in amongst a good bunch of guys who offer plenty to learn from.

Please direct any queries / interest to office@deerdynamics.co.uk referencing Stalking DIrectory.

Many thanks,
