I presume you mean a .22rf and not a .22 air rifle?Legal, yes (happy to be corrected) actions of a safe and responsible shooter? No.I have just been asked by a local guy if he can shoot squirrels in small wooded area we have, I asked what he was going to shoot them with? his answer .22 rifle.....
My question is, is it legal to shoot squirrels and pigeons up in the tree's?
What you using on them? Shotgun or rifleI had 12 on my previous outing and another 10 or so on my latest outing which brings the total up to about 60 this year I think.
22lr. Shotgun was good but the noise meant longer between shots as the rest of them went into hiding! What you using on them? Shotgun or rifle
Of out in the morning with .22 PCP air rifle, so fingers crossed all will go ok22lr. Shotgun was good but the noise meant longer between shots as the rest of them went into hiding!
Hey, thanks for the reply, I thought everyone except you had pressed the "Ignore" button .. lolI presume you mean a .22rf and not a .22 air rifle?Legal, yes (happy to be corrected) actions of a safe and responsible shooter? No.
This time of year good bags of squirrels can be had using a rimfire to shoot squirrels that are scurrying around gathering food from the floor
.Yesterday I got my Pard ds35-50 back!
Ben, I think a Zulus is way better for the 204. The ds35-50 struggles around 200 plus. You'll see it but it's never crystal! Then mate. I'm still thinking I'll get one..I fudged up a bit - got an atn ltv to go on 204 but because Ruger mounting system is so limiting, can't fit rings either side of 'box' in middle of atn!!
So I've put it on 22rf so still need something to go on 204.
Trouble is mate I don't want it on a rail as it makes it too high, want it in 30mm ringsBen, I think a Zulus is way better for the 204. The ds35-50 struggles around 200 plus. You'll see it but it's never crystal!
Alpex 4k lrf is the answerTrouble is mate I don't want it on a rail as it makes it too high, want it in 30mm rings
