DSC1 - who runs them?

Really stupid question but who actually runs DSC1 courses?

We potentially have a suitable location for courses. Indoor for book stuff and a range for the assessment but I’ve no idea how the whole thing works because I only did the assessment when I got mine.

NGO, BASC, BDS and no end of other private trainers will provide the necessary training for you at your location. I would suggest contacting and speaking to a number of organisations and trainers to find one that suits your requirements best. DMQ should be able to supply a list of such trainers.

DMQ administer the training, monitor the syllabus etc.

Training direct to the candidate is through a number providers who teach the courses. All the main shooting providers have a crack at doing with plus a number of smaller providers. Be aware that some of the shooting organisations try to make the DSC 1 drag out for 4 days instead of the standard 3 which is ample.
