Sticks

If it was me I’d be saving up for the best ones (viperflex) they certainly do make a difference in my eyes after shooting off 2-3 different sets of sticks. Yes a massive percentage of guys on here will disagree but each to their own. Viperflex all the way and the after service is excellent.
Weren't their first models prone to whistling in the wind... 🤫 ⚰️

Yes they were. Like listening to the pan pipes!
They sort of cured this by supplying plastic covers but they still twisted round and whistling would start again.
Newer models have a full rubber sleeve covering the whole leg, so problem solved.

@Sol - Don't know whether you have tried using quad sticks, but if you want to give a set of Viper Flex a try let me know. I'm in D&G now and again, but could arrange to meet up somewhere if you want.

I don't think there's a huge difference between any of the 4 leg ones but I've been using mjoelner fenris ii carbon fibre ones a couple of years.

If you are making your own (and why wouldn’t you) instead of relying on just the front Vee (which gives you zero lateral movement) try attaching a strap across the front fork - this gives great fine-tuning with just a push of your thumb or pull of two fingers. I use mine three/four times a week and have shot foxes beyond 300 yards using them.

I have gen1 viperflex that are still going strong. A bit of tape around the holes and your good to go!

Another recommend for Viperflex.

I used grommets in the holes.
Once the height is set for you all the unused holes are superfluous.
100 of them off an auction site some years ago so don't remember the size. 6.5mm sort of chimes but a measure up with a vernier will make certain
