Replacement electronic ear plugs - not CENS

I've had a frustrating shooting week. I've struggled with .22LR all week and capped it off with success at the pheasants today, But I've left my CENS ear plugs somewhere out in the countryside. Which electronic ear plugs do folk recommend apart from CENS?
Thanks

It tried the Peltor EEP 100s and they were a good set of plugs, I just couldn’t get any of the insets to fit my (dodgy) ear canals comfortably so went back to over ear protection. I wish they’d fitted as I was impressed with them. I tried various sized insert thingys but no joy. Price was reasonable as well. Think you can get a lanyard too, to avoid the ‘oh sh1t where have they gone’ situations.

Peltor EEP100’s with the CENS Minos soft plugs have done me well for several years now… bought mine from Earshot Communications.

Or something similar from ISOtunes… they’ve got a Black Friday going at the moment but I get regular offers every few months or so having registered with them for emails. Their customer service is very good too…. sent me a free pair of gel cushions as I’d had to wait a while for them to come into the country! Result.

What don't you like about the CENS @jcampbellsmith ? Apart from the price. :)

You could get a set of moulds made that have the cord fitted. I nearly messed myself when I thought I'd lost mine first day out!

I got these as a pair to wear when out stalking, a little bulky but they are comfortable enough and improve my hearing of the great outdoors.

I have the EEP-100s and don't find the plugs supplied very comfortable. Do the CENS Mino soft plugs work with the EEP-100? If they do, which ones do you use?

They do a load of different sizes (diameter and length options) so you need to see which best fit your ears.

I use the Green 10.5mm shorts as my lug’oles aren’t so big… I’m still using the first pair bought when I got the 100’s.

I bought them for loading on pheasant n partridge days but having given that up a couple of years ago, they now get worn once a month for clays and end of season days. One foam did detach from its inner last year but I superglued it back on and it’s been fine ever since!

The tips get a wash in watered down handwash as and when I remember… once a year maybe…

Haven’t looked at prices recently but, iirc, CENS might do a selection pack 🤔 and it might be worth looking on isotunes for the equivalents?

I've ordered a few different sizes to see which suits best. I haven't been using my EEP100’s because they weren't comfortable so hopefully this will resolve that problem.

I tried these too. Couldn’t get one that fitted my cauliflower ear.

Checking on the CENs web site, kit of buds, £14.99.
Ok I thought but got to postage £8.40, bloody rip off that !!!
Yep… I’d agree with that, seems everything CENS is expensive!

When I bought those, there was a ‘sister’ site with free postage but the last time I looked that had gone the same way! 😕

Got a feeling the same tips on isotunes were cheaper? 🤔

Just looked and found the Isotunes section...

Couldn't find anything on postage part from the Free over £99.... would be worth a call to find that out and if they can do a selection pack or guidance on sizing
