Climate and Nature Bill - links U.K. emission reduction rate to planet's temperature

It’s not clear what “ Science” was used to give him the mantle of “ The worlds most interesting man” did it get peer reviewed

Don't know but there are plenty articles on the corruption of the peer review system.
Yes I know, there is corruption in most things, the question is to what degree. I still don’t see how he gets the mantle of “ Worlds most interesting person” perhaps he achieved it through corruption

There are numerous articles about Mathew B Crawford even Wikipedia, the label of most interesting person might be to do with his books and career 🤷‍♂️

I did check with the the Nobel Prize Organisation, they do a Peace and Science prize but not most interesting man, so we can rule them out

According to Google AI he is an interesting person because he is a motorcycle mechanic turned philosopher who offers a unique insight on the meaning of a good life.
That clears that up 😆

Binning this legislation has nothing to do with your understanding or belief in the factors affecting climate.

This legislation is bad and should be rejected because it proposes:
  1. Taxes to increment according to measured temperature regardless of impact to economy or wellbeing
  2. Creation of an unelected "Assembly" to set these rising taxes [this removes parliamentary accountability to the people]

as far as i am concerned this climate change stuff is all nonsense , at the very least it's nonsense for us in the UK we make so little difference if we sunk into the sea tomorrow and didn't emit another micro milligram of whatever the climate nutters are up in arms about at the moment you wouldn't even notice on the world chart

and as for being able to tax us to fix it ? they can't even tax us and fix pot holes ffs!

currently C02 is the issue eh? well i didn't do fabulously well at school but i do remember that C02 is essential for life and if it all disappeared tomorrow we would all die !

if the powers that be actually cared they would stop flying all over the world in jumbo jets , but it seems to me that only the emissions from planes with us plebs on are an issue ?

“It’s not clear what “ Science” was used to give him the mantle of “ The worlds most interesting man” did it get peer reviewed”

The above is what I posted in full, a lighthearted comment regarding his mantle of “ The worlds most interesting man” a reference to Mathew B Crawford. You have clipped it to just “ What Science was used” and then seem to be making a point that is completely and utterly unrelated to my comment

Exactly.

The most recent posts in this thread are a distraction from the OP: if we do not get our democratic representatives to bin this bill, we will participate in an ever accelerating erosion of quality of life.

To repeat: commentators on climate, scientists of one hue or another, "interesting folk", "factcheckers" and all info-charlatans are utterly irrelevant.

The key challenge is to prevent the usurpation of democratic accountability and, in this case, derail the mechanism by which western prosperity would be shredded.

Again another unrelated ramble from you that has nothing to do with my post. Try just make the “ point” you are after getting across and stop cutting and copying completely unrelated post

It’s a good job we’ve got real scientists in the stalking community who call out out the fake scientists with their evidence, scientific modelling and peer reviewed publications.
Wasn't it the scientists with their evidence, scientific modelling and peer reviewed publications that assured us back in the 1980s that we were entering a new ice age? Whatever happened to that?

what about the hole in the ozone layer we don't hear about that anymore is it gone?

and aren't we all supposed to be under water by now ?

Regardless of whether or not you believe that man made carbon is affecting our weather one thing is abundantly clear, the only people taking it seriously and compromising their economies, food and fuel security in pursuit of net zero are living in Europe.
Everyone else is ignoring it and developing their economies as fast as they can.
We alone are crippling our industries with high energy costs and regulation and putting productive farmland under solar panels or tree cover.
Since we can’t stop climate change, we should prepare for it.
