I had the 25mm with the 4k and if you were using for just deer stalking, yes, fine. The thermal was compromised, but sufficient to show that something was there and the 4k binos did the rest. For the price, brilliant.I do like my friend’s Habrok. It’s the cheapest model, but impressive. One thing that stopped me from buying a pair was the size and weight of the things. I noticed he was carrying a set of Votex Viper 10x42 (same as my own - an excellent set of binos) his Habrok and an older TI monocular. Too much gear for my liking. I suppose my question therefore is…can the Habroks adequately replace the binos and TI?
Recent firmware update for the 4K provides image stabilisation at 22x zoom, brilliant.I'm going to hold off until the image stabilisation is a thing. Been burned too many times by manufacturers announcing an upcoming feature only for it to never materialise.
Is it just 22x? Or does OIS work at all mags?Recent firmware update for the 4K provides image stabilisation at 22x zoom, brilliant.

Image stabilisation is already on the pro range. thermal and 4kI'm going to hold off until the image stabilisation is a thing. Been burned too many times by manufacturers announcing an upcoming feature only for it to never materialise.
For me the HX60L every time... the HQ50L FOV up close is too tight, also the image is over magnified, whilst the HX60L image is perfect for scanning up close, it also has a lot more detail than the HQ50L model, retains quality at a longer distance and has added detection range from the 60mm lens...I've spent time with the HE25. the HQ50 and the HX60
Obviously the HX60 has the best thermal image- but it's only very slightly better than on the HQ50 - and the optical side of things is the same
Given that the HX60 is £1600 more than the HQ50, I think that if you want more than the HE25 can offer, then the HQ50 is the best bang for your buck
Cheers

It's just on 22x but the other magnification were usable anyway. Is it just 22x? Or does OIS work at all mags?
Yes, instalation is very easy and very stable. Are here any HE25L users, that have successfully instaled firmwire update for image stabilization?
A lot of my friends are asking me, if it is safe to instal new firmwire. I know that in the past, some users regreted to update firmwire on various devices and I don't want to jump my suggestion to them.
Thank you.
