Anyone else tried the DPT mod brake on their rifles?
Having recently seen this posted on a thread somewhere on here (tried to find the thread to add in here). I ordered 1 up to try it. I already had the DPT mod I have to add
I was hoping that it would reduce the recoil a bit so that I could see the bullet strike more readily without losing too much sound reduction.
Glad to say that it does both, and for the price of the add-on it is well worth the £. From memory around £60 or less.
My 6mmXC now recoils like a 223 and there was absolutely no change of POI.
I would say there is about a 10-20% increase in sound, though I could reduce this by adding the extra baffle I removed when adding the 'magnum' stainless baffle
