Out last night.

#20 for me.
Parked the motor on the farm track against a dark and dingy piece of woodland 200 yards from a baited patch, didn't have long to wait, and a dog fox rocked up for feed on a portion of best Norfolk squirrel. 200 yards is far enough for me with the Pard 007, but the moon is quite bright, so I thought I had better not park closer. I got a nice steady shot using my plywood door shelf & sandbag combo...
Another one bites the dust..

What kind of an image do you get from the 007 at 200 and what scope are you using Mr Diddley? 👍🏻

The scope is a Delta Titanium 2.5 - 15 x 56mm with a PbirL, I have to wind the IR up to high and turn it into spot at this sort of range, it is grainy, but I could clearly see Fredy sat hunched up over the piece of squirrel munching into it.
On a nice crisp clear night I think you get a good image. Certainly much better than shooting at a set of eyes at 300 yards with a Blue Eye Lamp like we did 30 years ago.

I bought one of these on a whim at a gun shop Saturday.

It stirred three last night, one was hundreds of yards away but after it started to trot my way it changed it's mind and another was about with this vixen but the vixen got first attention. First come first served see....
Anyway, it calls deer in also! I kid ye not!

Any badgers inquisitive too?
Ken.

I've been using the same scope/pard combo for a month or two. To be honest the Delta glass is probably too good. I found the previous set up with any one of my Optisan scopes was more user friendly and less grainy. I may change back.

Just noticed that the WAM call is available on best fox call, sent for one, these were really good back when the originals were about.
Agreed. For closer work or just pique the interest of one you can already see, the WHAM is fantastic. Not as easy as some of the plastic ones to get in your mouth tho!!

Out stalking this evening on a patch where the roe need reducing to protect some newly planted fruit trees.
Took this mature doe at 177 yds carrying twins.
