Where are Bergarra Rifles made?

Bergaras are made in Spain

Howas and Weatherbies are Japanese

Tikkas, Sako’s etc Finnish

Brownings are Belgium, Portugal or Japan.

Pretty much the only US rifles that we see in the UK will be Remington 700s, Rugers and the odd Kimber, Cooper or Dakota.

Only Scopes of any note that are US made are Leupolds. Most of the other US brands are from the Far East.

Never fails the amaze me. 13 posts only 1 post answering what the OP asked and then 11 stupid jokes or off topic totally. Why does anyone bother anymore. Some great helpful knowledgeable members on here. Shame the fools seem to be the most active these days

To be fair, the first line of post #2 provided the answer.
Not sure why you have an issue with the thread going off topic following that?

I’ve seen quite a few early on and formed an opinion professionally on their quality control and reliability.

That was many years ago and I have said since then I would never work on one

As a favour to a regular client I have agreed as a one off to Rebarrel a magnum actioned example of these “firearm's”

This has lost accuracy after only a few hundred rounds - the barrel is junk, fit only as a pea stake

Appears qc hasn’t changed much and remains a lottery wether you get a good one or not

I payed about 700£ for my ba13 its for hunting not for shooting a big number of rounds, I got what I payed for a rifle to hunt with, about 30mm at 100m I am not expecting it to last to the next generation of hunters. The same amount of money could have bought med a custom barrel or a used 20 year old rifle. If i had payed 3-4000£ I would expect nice finish and it may last for 50 years.
