The eye relief won'tHandled it at Nothern Shootjng Show and ordered one after discussion with rep for my new Merkel k3 in .243, said it would easily cope as tested on full bore calibres.
Arrived and mounted, zeroed today with no eye relief issues with rubber eye piece in place, really pleased with complete package.Handled it at Nothern Shootjng Show and ordered one after discussion with rep for my new Merkel k3 in .243, said it would easily cope as tested on full bore calibres.
Good news. Be interesting to hear how it goes with heavier chamberings….Arrived and mounted, zeroed today with no eye relief issues with rubber eye piece in place, really pleased with complete package.
Great news, looks like a fantastic scope.Arrived and mounted, zeroed today with no eye relief issues with rubber eye piece in place, really pleased with complete package.
Absolutely, hopefully someone will oblige. We could do with a side by side video at last light against the full size
Short eye relief, with the increased chance of a scope kiss to the eyebrow with more powerful calibres.Hmmm.
Could someone explain to me why, recoil issues (if any) aside this is being marketed as an air rifle/.22lr sight only and is suitable for shooting at sub-80 yards only? Is there a focus problem beyond 80, does the RF/BC not function beyond that distance - or wot?

Yep - I get that, so is it fear of litigation? Surely that v short eye relief could be easily sorted?Short eye relief, with the increased chance of a scope kiss to the eyebrow with more powerful calibres.
Air rifle / rimfire giving far less recoil.
Better night vision or better last light capability? I'm tempted by these as I liked everything about my big Alpex 4k apart from the weight. I'm not at all arsed about seeing in colour for a bit longer at last light, even with my Alpex I put it onto b&w mode soon as I could. So is the b&w mode on the lite much worse than the b&w on the big Alpex Ian?better night vision performance at longer distance ?
