I have been using a pulsar krypton for a few years , heavy but does the job fine for my use . Thinking of getting the krypton 2 or hik thunder 3.0 whats your views on them the lads that have used them ? Ease of use no need to zero to different rifles etc ? Thanks in advance Alun

Pulsar Krypton 2 XG50 is better than original Krypton. But if you really want to upgrade, choosing between Krypton 2 or Thunder 3.0 tq50 is not really a question.
Thunder 3.0 tq50 is much better regarding picture. It is also more compact.
Both are using non-standard batteries, but you get two with Thunder.
I would choose Tq35 for closer ranges and wider field of view 22m/100m, or tq50 for longer ranges but narrover field of view 15m/100m.

Leave a short review please , got on well with krypton for boar on foot up to 100mtr and has been faultless in 4yrs use .
You have done better than me then with my Krypton MKl, mine had to go back to TJ`s and they replaced it,
Now have the Thunder 3.0 with a Smartclip dedicated adapter and it has been brilliant.

Its still faultless luckily, how easy was hik to calibrate to day scope ? Pulsar was clamp on and spot on any scope .

Sorry but bar one muntjac and a sole fallow it was VERY quiet across the 2 farms I stalked last night so rather than waiting for another 90 minutes until when I expected to bring the Thunder into service, I legged it home before the rain for a beer, pizza, red wine and whisky watching a good film. Sadly, it had been that kind of week. I did get into 23m of the fallow though 🤗 Roll on August :thumb:
