For Sale: HIKMICRO ALPEX 4K LITE LRF OFFICIALY RELEASED - ORDER NOW !

I can’t be alone in having been scoped by the full size one a few times while getting used to it!

Yes it'll be interesting. I wonder how much the smaller objective lens comes into play at last light? I believe both scopes have the same sensor so it'll be a very easy and direct comparison to make. More important to me is how much more powerful an ir will it require?

Hmmm.
Could someone explain to me why, recoil issues (if any) aside this is being marketed as an air rifle/.22lr sight only and is suitable for shooting at sub-80 yards only? Is there a focus problem beyond 80, does the RF/BC not function beyond that distance - or wot?

Short eye relief, with the increased chance of a scope kiss to the eyebrow with more powerful calibres.

Air rifle / rimfire giving far less recoil.

Yep - I get that, so is it fear of litigation? Surely that v short eye relief could be easily sorted?

Prob not the fear of litigation, more the bad reviews these days.

As they have marketed it as Air / Rimfire, any one that gets a scope kiss off it on a centre fire will be called an idiot by their peers, or a cheapskate for not buying the higher priced one. Funny how marketing goes these days. ;-)

Nothing stopping peeps putting them on heavier recoiling, but can't really moan if it gets a little intimate.

There suitable for recoiling rifles, you just have to make sure they use a recoil eye piece, which is supplied.

Daytime and low light they are great, night time they're good out beyond airgun ranges, but not as good at night as the big brother model with it's huge fast aperture lens..

All depends , do you need a lightweight model and lower cost OR a model twice the weight with better night vision performance at longer distance ?

Better night vision or better last light capability? I'm tempted by these as I liked everything about my big Alpex 4k apart from the weight. I'm not at all arsed about seeing in colour for a bit longer at last light, even with my Alpex I put it onto b&w mode soon as I could. So is the b&w mode on the lite much worse than the b&w on the big Alpex Ian?
