OLDEN TIMES

Hi John

Methinks that yesteryears men were made of sterner stuff.
Without a shadow there John, even a couple of generations ago. I was in Shetland last week, the fishermen used to go to sea, rowing in an open boat for four days! In the Atlantic/ North Sea, imagine that now. To see old photos of the farmers on the Moor, or highlands, those men were made of granite for sure. They are not soft now, real tough men, but it is a little easier for them now.

Well FMD one side of our coat of arms has Viking Longboats in a quarter.......geezuz we are nearly brothers except you have that Pommy Bastard mixed in haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa..Hey Poms no offence, said in jest.

My wife is a Williamson, of Viking heritage, and being called a Pommy does not insult me whatsoever, in fact I believe it a compliment. Certainly better than what we call Aussies, but my Aussie mates have never been bothered. 👍
