My FEO was carrying out my grand daughters interview for her S/C, when he asked for my Cert so as to include all of my shot guns on her certificate. No problem. Now the question? I am selling off one Shot gun, Notification of the transaction must be carried out with in 7 days and entered on my certificate. Will I have to inform the Firearms department using BOTH certificate Numbers and filling out BOTH certificates' of the buyers details.

For every certificate which the gun is listed on, I think.

You would fill out the buyer certificate with your details as normal. As you are "selling" the shotgun. Then you both notify of the transfer to your FLD.
To add your granddaughters details is not necessary and would probably cause more issues than it solved. As long as you both notify the disposal so it can be taken off both records.
You don't make any entry on either your or your GD's SGC only the buyers gets anything written on it.

You could have a chat with your FEO they are there to help. If you emailed them you'd also be creating a record of conversation to save should they incorrectly advise. Allows you to quote them if needed.

Both of you informing won't be required, just list both your and your grand daughters SGC numbers and address when you inform them of the sale. I tend to put the SGC number/s in the subject bar of the email I send them

Enter one set of details onto the buyer's certificate.

Notify police of the disposal from both yours and granddaughter's. If you're doing it in writing or by email you can write on behalf of you both and include both certificate numbers. If it's an online form with boxes to fill you'll probably have to do it twice, one each.

You dont enter anything on your ticket as far as im aware, just on the buyers
Exactly this ^^^
You don't write anything on either your own or your granddaughter's certificate when you sell one of the shotguns. Only on the buyer's certificate.
Then notify your firearms dept of the transfer. A simple letter stating:

"We, the undersigned, have transferred xxxx shotgun to Mr yyyy (cert number zzzz) on [date].
Love from me (cert number hhhhh) and her (cert number iiiiiii)."

Just notify the gun is disposed of, to whom, and detail your’s and your granddaughter’s certificate.

No room for error if you do so and no more effort.
