Where to buy M4x12mm socket head bolts with 5.5mm diameter head?

I have mashed the head of an allen socket head bolt from one of my scope mounts. Annoying but I thought never mind, I'll buy some more. I measured the shank and it's 3.9mm diameter so M4, and the thread pitch is 0.7mm, the standard for M4. The head diameter is 5.4mm though, and the usual head diameter for M4 is 7mm. I have looked for either hex or torx bolts but cannot find any with this narrower head anywhere.

Does anyone know where I might find such a bolt please?

Get a few more of the larger size, double nut them nice sharp flat file, hold your drill in the vice nip them up in the chuck and take off 1.6mm off.

I’ve used a company called Model Fixings to find small machine screws in the past, have a look at their website.

Alternatively, buy the ones with the larger diameter head, stick them in a drill chuck, file the head diameter down then heat them to orange & quench in oil to colour up.

Thanks everyone. Had a look at accu.co.uk, wycombenutandbolt.co.uk, Ant Supplies and Model Fixings and none of them had what I need on their websites. I was up early this morning so I went out in the garage and turned down some of the A2 stainless bolts that I had bought before I realised the heads on the ones I needed were only 5.4mm and not 6.8mm. I will try those sites in future, they seem like they will have most fixings.
