Shotgun repair

My shotgun keeps pricking the cartridge but not firing. I guess it's something to do with the firing pin or spring. Is there anybody local to Worcestershire that could fix?

I've asked a couple of local shops however they have said the turnaround time could be weeks. Could do with it back ASAP

in both barrels? try a different brand of cartridge as they all look the same but are not quite

If it's a browning/miroku o/u once you have the stock off you only need to push out one pin to remove the firing pin, replacements are on the web.

One barrel. Tried different types of ammo

I’ve seen this happen a lot recently with Fiocchi F Blacks in the bottom barrel of Brownings.

What cartridges are they?

Lyalvale. But then also had it happen with Eleys

Have you noticed if it tends to happen in only one or both barrels? Good luck on getting it resolved.

Just the one barrel i think

When was it last serviced / deep cleaned? Every chance that there is some old gummed up oil slowing the pin up.
