Hi all, does anyone have a Lee 3-jaw case trimmer (used with a cordless drill), and are they any good / any good for someone just starting out reloading?
Do you mean a "Zip Trim"? I wore mine out. Loved it. Then i got fancy because i wanted more variety in trim lengths. I ended up with a Forrester. -Muir

Yep - been there done that. I removed the chuck from the body and simply attached it to my drill - on slow speed it works a treat for resizing and with a bit of wire wool cleans cases very well too.

I bought one…. Wouldn’t grip a 223 case before it slipped and span off! … you’re just relying on the edges of the thin petals to grip the grove…..went into the ‘why did I ever fall for that load of cobblers’ drawer!
Stick to the usual locking ring type, they hold the case much firmer.
